Hayden out of Indy MotoGP race after crash

Ducati Team’s Nicky Hayden will miss tomorrow’s Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix after suffering a heavy crash in qualifying Saturday, which rendered him unconscious for a short period and caused fractures in his 2-3 metacarpus. Despite escaping serious injury, the concussion means he will not be allowed to contest tomorrow’s race.
