Dallara Win Contract to Supply New Chassis for 2014 Japanese Championship

Dallara Automobili Spa, the Italian race car constructor is pleased to announce that, after a detailed tendering process it has won the contract to design and supply all the cars to the new Japanese Championship – Super Formula (SF) for 2014. This new championship will replace Formula Nippon.

Development of the new chassis "SF14 " will focus on going back to the three basics of formula cars: cornering speed, braking and improving the car’s overall efficiency by achieving an ideal balance between performance and car safety. The new car should have its first ‘shake down’ test in mid 2013.
