NASCAR Talladega TV Rating
ESPN’s live telecast of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, Oct. 7, attracted an average audience of 5,113,374 that saw Matt Kenseth drive to victory in the 500-mile race.
The telecast earned a 3.7 household coverage rating (3.2 U.S. rating), according to the Nielsen Company. Last year’s race, which was run later in October, earned a 3.9 household coverage rating while the 2010 race rated 3.6.
