UPDATE ABC’s live telecast of the Bank of America 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday night, Oct. 13, earned a 'final' 3.2 rating, averaging 5,095,231 viewers, according to the Nielsen Company. It was the third consecutive year that the race earned a 3.2 rating.
ESPN’s live telecast of Charlotte’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Friday night, Oct. 12, earned a 1.2 household coverage rating (1.0 U.S. rating), averaging 1,525,790 viewers. The rating was up from a 1.1 for last year’s event.
10/15/12 Saturday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Bank of America 500 on ABC race earned a 3.0 overnight TV rating, the same as last year.
