McLaren announces Abu Dhabi test drivers

Regular McLaren test drivers Gary Paffett and Oliver Turvey will be joined by Kevin Magnussen for the three-day young driver test following the Abu Dhabi GP.

The 20-year-old Dane joined McLaren's Young Driver Program last year and having carried simulator work alongside his Formula Renault 3.5 commitments with Carlin this year, will get his first taste of track action with McLaren at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Paffett, 31, who could clinch his second DTM title at Hockenheim this weekend, has been McLaren test driver since 2005, whilst 25-year-old Turvey joined McLaren at the start of the season. Both drove the MP4-27 during the Mugello test in May.

They will be joined at the Abu Dhabi test by Lotus, Sauber, Toro Rosso and Caterham. Ferrari, Mercedes and Force India carried out their test at Magny-Cours in September, whilst HRT, Marussia and Williams ran at Silverstone in July.
