UPDATE ESPN’s live telecast of the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, Nov. 11, earned a 3.3 'final' household coverage rating (2.8 U.S. rating), averaging 4,423,473 viewers, according to the Nielsen Company. The rating was even with last year’s race and up from a 2.9 for the race in 2010.
ESPN’s live telecast of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix on Saturday, Nov. 10, earned a 'final' 1.1 household coverage rating (1.0 U.S. rating), averaging 1,532,748 viewers.
11/12/12 ESPN also earned a 2.4 overnight for the penultimate NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race yesterday, with the telecast from Phoenix down 8% from the same race last year.
