Changes for Toronto GP in 2013

New grandstands in Toronto for 2013

A reader writes, Looking at the ticket renewal page for the Toronto GP IndyCar race in 2013 the following changes are planned (we wonder how many seats they are eliminating to hide the poor attendance?):

Gone are the following Grandstands: Turn 9/10, Pit-In, Turn 9. Replaced by: New Turn 10 aluminum grandstand with more rows. Enhancements: Turn 3 will have better sight-lines more rows, better angles, and aluminum structure. Dr. Pepper also gets an aluminum stand with more rows, slightly different tilt and better sight-lines.

Renamed: Gold is now called "Pit-Lane" Grandstand and Silver is "Start-Finish" Grandstand. Tickets in the Upper-Rows in "Pit Lane" "Start-Finish" and "Turn 3" now come with a 3-Day Paddock Pass. Tickets now range from $50 for General Admission to $165 uppers for the Pit-Lane and Start-Finish (formerly Gold and Silvers) and Turn 3 upper-rows and $125 lower rows. There are single-day only seats that are priced differently in a couple of the stands and not available yet.

There's a brand new pass for "Pit-Lane" access that is being limited only to 200 people for the weekend at $125.00. It's supposed to be a V.I.P. experience but didn't totally understand how it works.
