So why is the IndyCar in-person experience so poor?
- Hideous looking car – what is that blob in front of the rear wheels?
- Spec cars – they all look the same
- Engine Sound – Nothing like an F1 car. Champ Cars sounded awesome.
- Engine Sound
- Did we mention engine sound?
- Empty oval grandstands – makes a fan feel like they are at a dying event.
- Engine Sound – When a screaming F1 car goes by the hair on the back of your neck stands up
- Driver name recognition – fans don't know who is who
- Rolling starts – how mundane
- Engine Sound – Get the point yet?
