Stewart-Haas Racing re-signs sponsors for Ryan Newman for 2013

Stewart-Haas Racing has re-signed four sponsors for a total of 10 races for Ryan Newman for 2013, giving Newman sponsorship for 28 of the 38 races.

WIX Filters, Outback Steakhouse, Aspen Dental and Code 3 Associates will all return as primary sponsors of Newman’s No. 39 Chevrolet, joining Quicken Loans, which announced in October that it would sponsor Newman for 18 races next season. WIX Filters will sponsor Newman for three races — March 24 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., July 14 at New Hampshire and Oct. 20 at Talladega.

Outback also will sponsor three races — April 27 at Richmond, July 6 at Daytona and Nov. 3 at Texas.

Aspen Dental will sponsor two races — the May 18 Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte and the Aug. 11 race at Watkins Glen International

Code 3 Associates, a non-profit organization specializing in animal rescue, will sponsor both races at Kansas Speedway — on April 21 and Oct. 6.

Newman won one race and finished 14th in the final Sprint Cup standings in 2012. He has 16 career victories — three in his four seasons with Stewart-Haas.

Team co-owner Tony Stewart will be sponsored by Bass Pro Shops and Mobil 1 next year while new teammate Danica Patrick will have backing from Go Daddy.

“Obviously, we’re very proud to have WIX Filters, Outback Steakhouse, Aspen Dental and Code 3 Associates back with our race team," Stewart said. “We work really hard to deliver on the racetrack, but we work just as hard to understand each one of our sponsor’s businesses so we can help them accomplish the goals they have, be it in racing or with their customers."
