Daly 2nd and 4th in India
After starting from sixth on the grid Daly quickly made his way towards the front eventually finishing second when Britain's Tom Gladdis was penalized for a jump start.
Race two starting positions were determined by race one finishing order with the top six inverted. This placed Daly fifth on the starting grid in a race that proved to be high action. At the first corner an aggressive move by FIA Formula Two champion, Luciano Bacheta, forced Daly off line and to the outside of the corner. Daly held on staying outside Bacheta at turn two only to be forced off the road again where he spun in the gravel trap.
He rejoined in 18th place and proceeded to charge through the field. When he got to 13th the race was red flagged for a big crash with one car flipping into the barriers. After the restart, Daly's charge continued up to fourth place at the checkered flag.
Rounds five and six will be held tomorrow morning (Sunday) where Daly qualified on the pole for Sunday morning's round five.
"Today had a bit of everything. Cars being forced off the road, cars crashing, red flags and people punching each other afterwards. I want to try to steer clear of all the drama tomorrow with a good start from the pole" said Daly."
