Sixteen drivers to hit the track for Barcelona Auto GP test

The roster for the Auto GP test scheduled for Thursday, December 6 and Friday, December 7 at Barcelona is now complete and features 8 teams and 16 drivers. In addition to reigning champion Adrian Quaife-Hobbs, who will be focusing on the development of the new car, and to the already-cofirmed Euronova (Yoshitaki Koruda, Kimiya Sato), Ombra (Luca Defendi), Super Nova (Vittorio Ghirelli, Antono Spavone) and Virtuosi UK (Andrea Roda) , four more squads rounded out the entry-list.

New and coming team Ghinzani will field two cars, with Kevin Giovesi partnered by Nicola De Marco, back to open-wheel racing after an one-year hiatus. Zele Racing will be fielding Giuseppe Cipriani and Sergio Campana, while after having announced their entry in the 2013 GP2 Series, Manor MP will be back with two cars. The first one will have Daniel De Jong behind the wheel, while the second is set to be shared by Jordan King and Rodolfo Gonzalez. Last but not least, Team MLR71 will field Michele La Rosa and Giacomo Ricci. The two days will be covered by a live timing service, available at www.livetiming.alkamelsystems.com/circuitcat

Enzo Coloni:“Many drivers showed great interest in Auto GP, confirming the fact that our series is highly-renowned at international level. Today we also showcased the new car to all the Team Managers and Drivers, collecting some really positive feedback. In addition to that, I'm proud to see a successful GP2 Series driver like Rodolfo Gonzalez come to Auto GP in order to prepare for 2013.
