Boulanger becomes motorsport boss at Renault
Arnaud Boulanger has been appointed as the new Director of Motorsport at Renault Sport. The Frenchman is taking over from compatriot Jean-Pascal Dauce, with the latter joining Alpine Caterham as its Engineering and Project Vice-President.
Boulanger has twenty years of Formula 1 experience to his name. He began his Renault Sport career in 1992, before taking charge of Benetton's test team in 1995. For 1997 and 1998 he acted as Chief Race Engineer, later becoming head of R&D at Renault F1. He then headed up the Process Engineering and Reliability department.
Boulanger's new role will range from F1 work to the organisation of main feeder category World Series by Renault and national Formula Renault championships.
