Villeneuve reduced to running 4th level support races

Jacques Villeneuve will take part in the Pau Grand Prix in May, with the Canadian driver confirming his entry for the Supertourisme 2L support races at the meeting.

Villeneuve, who claimed the 1997 Formula 1 world title, will share the grid with a number of famous faces. Nine-time World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb has confirmed his presence, while triple WTCC Champion Yvan Muller will compete if his currently undecided racing programme does not clash with the event in France.

The Pau Grand Prix will be held held on the weekend of 18, 19 and 20 May.
