Auto GP drops Russia, adds Silverstone
A late update made the 2013 Auto GP schedule final today with a venue change. The championship, promoted and managed by Enzo Coloni, replaced Moscow Raceway, which was still to be confirmed, with a round at Silverstone set for the same date, the 9th of June, on one of the most renowned F1 track in business. The switch was aimed at preventing the team from facing an expensive trip to Russia. In addition to the new location, the series is poised to announce two test days set for May the 3rd at Budapest, and August 29 at Donington Park.

We're doubling-up our presence in the UK and we also made a step towards the teams. They always provided great support for our project. With this move, they will be able to save on the travel expenses and provide their drivers with a very competitive and high-quality environment with a much lower budget compared to GP2".
