Bridgestone names Lisa Boggs

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) today announced a new director of motorsports and promotion for chief engineer of its consumer tire division, effective May 1, 2013.

Lisa Boggs has been named Director, Motorsports, BATO. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing, directing, planning and coordinating all of BATO’s motorsport and motorsport marketing activities.

Boggs has an extensive background developing brand programs that leverage motorsports sponsorships and assets. Before joining Bridgestone, she spent seven years at Edelman Public Relations leading programs for clients in IndyCar and NASCAR including IZOD, Office Depot, Shell, Armor All and STP, as well as overseeing the 100th Anniversary Indianapolis 500 public relations campaign. Additionally, Lisa held positions with Philip Morris as part of the team dedicated to the Marlboro brand sponsorship of Team Penske in IndyCar and at Leo Burnett Advertising working with clients Procter & Gamble and Philip Morris. Boggs earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University of Ohio.

Dale Harrigle, currently manager of engineering, has accepted the position of Chief Engineer/Manager, Race Tire development. Dale has been with Bridgestone for 20 years and has been involved with the motorsports programs for 18 years.
