Bump Day MidDay Report

The field is full, and the only driver on the outside looking in is Michel Jourdain Jr. On the bubble is Katherine Legge. Conor Daly and Buddy Lazier join Legge in the provisional last row. Graham Rahal said that he’d be testing the Jourdain car to see if he can help get it up to speed.

Nothing more has been seen of the Ganassi 83T car. It took one lap this morning, raising a few eyebrows, but the reality is that there are only 34 motors for competitors, and all seem to be spoken for.

A total of 19 cars have taken to the track today, including a few who are safely in the field. Most of the teams spent the last week working on race setups, so those who don’t do any practice today will probably be okay with just a few minutes’ practice on Carb Day (Friday).
