2011 Daytona 500 Champion Trevor Bayne announced a three-race sponsorship deal for his Roush-Fenway Racing-owned Nationwide Series car with Pillow Pets, a brand of stuffed toys featuring Velcro straps that allow the stuffed animal to be folded into a pillow.

Bayne was on hand to deliver Patriotic-themed Pillow Pets to members of the media, as well as announce that Pillow Pets will donate 2,000 patriotic Pillow Pets to military members and their families.

"I know the kids love it, and it's neat for me because we have a lot of young fans in NASCAR, and sometimes it's hard for them to connect to what the sponsor is," Bayne said. "Now with Pillow Pets on our car, they're excited. I've had so many kids today like at the Roush Fenway fan day come up and want a Pillow Pet, and we were able to give them one."

The Pillow Pets-sponsored no. 6 Ford Mustang will make its debut on Saturday night in the History 300 Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Pillow Pets will also be the primary sponsor for Bayne in the Nationwide Series events at Indianapolis and Dover. Pete McCole
