Alfa Romeo gears up for two-year Monza sponsorship
Italian carmaker Alfa Romeo has agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with the owners of the Monza racetrack in Italy.
Alfa Romeo’s Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde model will be the track’s official safety, courtesy and medical car. The Turin-based carmaker will also receive advertising exposure at ‘scheduled sports competitions’ and organize special events at the track. The agreement, which was officially unveiled at the 2013 FIM Superbike World Championship at Monza on 12th May, will run until the end of 2014.
Monza, which was built in 1922, will host the 2013 Italian Grand Prix from 6th to 8th September.
