Afternoon Update from Mid-Ohio

I just went by the Ganassi pit area, and the crews were hard at work repairing the #83 Novo Log Flexpen Honda of Charlie Kimball. Note, I use the plural as the #83 crew was being assisted by members of the #9 Target crew. No official word yet on whether the #83 machine will or will not be ready for qualifying

I also stopped by the AJ Foyt pit area. The ABC Supply guys were fixing some body damage on Takuma Sato's Dallara Honda. However, the atmosphere was much less strained and a crewman told me Sato would absolutely be ready for qualifying at 2 p.m.

Firestone Indy Lights qualifying is on track now. More later…..
