Brabham motors to another win |
Coming to the twin checkers more than five seconds ahead of second place during Race Two at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres, Matthew Brabham clinched his 11th win and 13th podium this year – both of which are new records for either in one season of Pro Mazda competition. With this victory, the American is now the Pro Mazda Champion of 2013 with two races remaining in Houston on October 5 and 6.
"What an awesome year – I could not have predicted a season like this," said an elated Brabham.
"I'm so happy for the team and all my supporters… everyone has worked so hard and it has been perfect. I really have to thank Andretti Autosport and also Mazda for the wonderful year. I'm really happy and I'm enjoying the moment."
