Gameday Merchandising Named Official Merchandise Partner For IMSA

Merchandise featuring the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the new International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) is expected to be in high demand by race fans heading into the debut season in 2014. To handle the demand, IMSA has turned to Denver-based Gameday Merchandising to produce a complete line of premium merchandise for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the sanctioning body. The multi-year agreement will see Gameday operate at-track “boutiques," as well as an online store through IMSA.com. Gameday brings experience from partnerships with NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL teams.

Gameday’s merchandise has also been featured at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, Major League Soccer, major colleges and NBA and MLB All-Star Games. “Gameday will focus on providing a premium shopping experience and high-quality merchandise to our fans, both at the races and through our online store," said David Pettit, IMSA vice president, marketing. “We believe TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and IMSA merchandise will be extremely popular with our fans beginning next year, and should increase for years to come." “We are very excited about the opportunity to work with IMSA," said Gameday Merchandising President Alan Fey. “We have an arsenal of retail assets and believe we can utilize these resources to enhance the current operations and provide a better retail experience for IMSA and their fans." The debut, 12-race TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season kicks off with the 52nd Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 25-26, 2014.
