Marussia signs Concorde agreement
The Banbury-based squad was isolated in not securing a new seven-year deal with Ecclestone as discussions over a new Concorde Agreement gathered pace earlier this season, but it has now put pen to paper after concluding successful discussions.
With Marussia's situation finally resolved, all 11 teams are now committed to the sport until at least the 2020 campaign, when the next series of renewals is scheduled.
One of the stumbling blocks is widely believed to have revolved around an additional payment if Marussia finished 11th in the Constructors' standings in future years, with only the top ten teams qualifying for television rights money under the previous deal.
Marussia currently holds the coveted 10th position ahead of the final four races, although key rivals Caterham can move ahead by securing a 13th place finish.
