17-year old wins NASCAR Truck race
Toyota Tundra driver Erik Jones became the youngest race-winner (17 years, 5 months, 9 days) in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) history when he earned his first victory on Friday night at Phoenix International Raceway.
The finish allowed Toyota to clinch the 2013 NCWTS manufacturer's championship, giving Toyota six titles in 10 years competing in the series (2004-2013).
Jones started second and led a race-high 84 laps (of 150) en route to his first career victory in only his fifth series start.
