New logo in the works
A new name calls for a new event logo. Green Savoree St. Petersburg is working closely with its new title sponsor, Firestone, on the creation of a new logo for the annual festival, which will be officially unveiled early in the New Year.

Tim Ramsberger selected as Honorary Commander for MacDill Air Force Base
Tim Ramsberger, President of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, has been selected as an Honorary Commander for MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Ramsberger was inducted into the two-year program during a recent ceremony alongside 26 civic leaders that were chosen for their active role in the Tampa Bay area community. "It is truly an honor and privilege to have been selected and to participate in this program," said Ramsberger following the ceremony at the base in late November. He is paired with the 310th Airlift Squadron, under the command of Lt. Col. Derrick Hodges.
