IndyCar team scam warning

Several years ago a con artist who represented himself to be an agent for a legitimate company was contacting Indy Car teams offering a large sponsorship.

Some actually flew to Italy to meet with him. It was a money laundering scheme. We hear he is at it again saying he represents what is a legitimate firm in Qatar.

As a warning to Indy Car teams be on the alert for this scam. We don't want to identify the name of the firm in Qatar as they are a legitimate company.

There is reason to believe this is a scam and if you are asked to go the Milan, Italy to meet with this person don't. You've been warned…..
