Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Dirty Mo Radio is back, bigger and better

Fans of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Dirty Mo Radio, the online digital experience found at DaleJr.com and common podcasting outlets such as iTunes, will have even more programming to enjoy in 2014.

Set to debut are three new shows that will occur weekly throughout the NASCAR season – The Monday Recap, Fast Lane Family, and JRM 360 The Podcast. Those programs will accompany the maiden show, The Dale Jr. Download, as the full lineup in 2014. The official launch for all programming is the week of Feb. 24 following the Daytona 500, though some will begin next week.

“If last year’s goal for Dirty Mo Radio was to launch, this year’s goal is to offer variety," Earnhardt Jr. said. “We’re always looking to grow, and we’re pretty passionate about it."

Leading the growth will be a weekly podcast hosted by Earnhardt Jr.’s sister, Kelley Earnhardt Miller. Her show, Fast Lane Family, will focus on the unique life of being a mom, wife, sister and daughter while overseeing one of the biggest brands in motorsports. She will share tales from home that will relate to the common NASCAR fan as well as anecdotes from day-to-day life with her 11-time most popular driver brother.

“This is a great opportunity for us to share stories about our home life, which I think can be anywhere from hilarious to embarrassing but certainly real," said Earnhardt Miller, who has three kids ranging from age two to 13. “It will be a complete diversion from what people are used to hearing on Dirty Mo Radio. If the other programming focuses on racing, this will focus on the life that revolves around it."

The week’s lineup will look like this – The Dale Jr. Download, hosted by Taylor Zarzour, will move from Mondays to Tuesdays to make room for The Monday Recap, which will rehash the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series events and feature exclusive post-race reaction from Earnhardt Jr. and JR Motorsports drivers. The Dale Jr. Download on Tuesdays will carry nearly the same format as last year, including the popular segment “Reaction Theatre." Fast Lane Family will air on Wednesdays, followed by JRM 360 The Podcast on Fridays. That show will provide in-depth personality to the JR Motorsports cast and offer insights to drivers and teams regarding the upcoming race weekend.

All Dirty Mo Radio programming will be recorded in a new studio located inside the JR Nation Retail store at JR Motorsports.

“We want Dirty Mo Radio to be a complete experience, not just something you download on your computer or smart phone," said producer Amanda Trautman, who joined the staff in January and will produce each of the podcasts. “The JR Nation store attracts thousands of people each month, so this will give visitors more to do than just shop and look at race cars. Now they can become engaged face-to-face with Dirty Mo Radio as it happens."
