Massive seat reduction at ISC tracks

Due to plummeting demand for NASCAR tickets ISC owned tracks have instituted a massive reduction in the number of seats their tracks have to save the embarrassment of all that empty aluminum.

Talladega has reduced seating from 147,000 to just 78,000, a massive 47% reduction. Daytona is reducing seating from 147,000 to 100,000, a massive reduction of 47,000 seats (32%), Richmond by 15,000 and Chicagoland by 20,000.

How can they afford to do this? 1) The prices rake the fans over the coals, so profits are still huge, 2) TV money the tracks get more than makes up for the lost ticket revenue.
