Robert Talbott joins sponsor list for Rahal

Robert Talbott announced today that it will sponsor the Rahal Letterman Lanigan (RLL) Racing team, of which IndyCar driver Graham Rahal is a member, during the 2014 Verizon IndyCar Series season, beginning with the Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday, May 10. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

As sponsor, Robert Talbott will provide RLL with co-branded sportswear for the team during the 2014 season. Additionally, the Monterey clothier will provide Graham Rahal and select members of the RLL executive management team with a more complete wardrobe – including sport shirts, sweaters and jackets. This sponsorship comes on the heels of last year’s launch of Robert Talbott Motorsports®, which was created to support American motorsports and young drivers.

“We are excited to join one of America’s most celebrated and accomplished racing teams," commented Bob Corliss, President and CEO of Robert Talbott, Inc. “We admire the work ethic exhibited by Graham and the Rahal Letterman Lanigan team and support their passion for achieving excellence. The partnership is a great fit as we are both committed to cultivating homegrown talent, and we look forward to supporting the team’s accomplishments this year."

“It is a great pleasure to join the Robert Talbott family and welcome them to our team," commented Bobby Rahal, co-owner of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. “Our team is built on a strong American heritage that demands the highest standard of excellence in auto-racing, and it is a thrill to work with an American company that also has a passion for excellence and for motorsports."

Graham currently drives the No. 15 National Guard-backed Honda in the Verizon IndyCar Series for Rahal Letterman Lanigan (RLL) Racing.
