Boingo Joins RLL as Official Team Partner

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) and Boingo Wireless, the leading DAS and Wi-Fi provider that serves consumers, carriers and advertisers worldwide, today announced that Boingo has become an Official Team Partner of the Verizon IndyCar Series program.

Boingo has launched an exclusive discount program for enlisted members of the Army National Guard, also a Rahal Letterman Lanigan sponsor. National Guard soldiers can sign up for Boingo’s Unlimited plan for $7.95 per month, a discount of 20%. The Boingo Unlimited plan – Boingo’s most popular regional plan – provides unlimited access to thousands of hotspots in North and South America on any two devices.

"We’re very pleased to welcome Boingo to our team," said Bobby Rahal, co-owner of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing with “Late Show with David Letterman" host David Letterman and Mi-Jack co-owner Mike Lanigan. "They are a leader in their industry and a brand that is well-known. Their National Guard discount program provides a great benefit to soldiers as they travel the nation, and we hope this is the first of many business-to-business opportunities we can assist with. No matter where you go, you see Boingo everywhere and we are proud to extend that reach through our Indy car program."

"We’re proud to sponsor the great Rahal team, and to have another opportunity to serve the members of our armed forces through our new National Guard preferred rate program," said Nick Hulse, President, Boingo Wireless. "We have the honor of serving members of the Army, Air Force and U.S. Marines on bases worldwide through our Boingo Broadband and IPTV products, and look forward to keeping National Guard soldiers connected as they travel the continent."

Graham Rahal, driver of the No. 15 National Guard Honda Indy car for RLL, challenged for the win at the previous street course event held at Detroit’s Belle Isle course and earned a season-best second place finish in Dual 1 at the Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit. Rahal is looking forward to the next challenge – the Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston doubleheaders on the streets around NRG Park (formerly “Reliant Park") June 28 and 29.
