IndyCar Mid-Ohio TV rating

The Mid-Ohio IndyCar Race on NBCSN Sunday from 3:45-5:45 pm ET averaged a horrible 0.25 household rating in the 56 metered TV markets.

The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on Sunday (3:43-5:48 p.m. ET) averaged 386,000 viewers, up 98% from the same race in 2013 (195,000 average viewers) but still less than an infomercial gets on ABC, which is where all the races should be broadcast.

Overall, NBCSN’s coverage of the 2014 Verizon IndyCar Series through nine races has drawn 398,000 average viewers, up 38% from the 2013 season average viewership through nine races on NBCSN (289,000), both horrible numbers, but moving in the right direction.
