Harvey wins Indy Lights pole

Jack Harvey swept the doubleheader recently at Mid-Ohio. Can he pull the trick again this weekend at Sonoma, to capture the series championship?

Jack Harvey has won pole position for Race 1 of the Indy Lights Grand Prix of Sonoma. Gabby Chaves, the leader in Indy Lights Presented By Cooper Tires championship standings qualified outside the front row next to the Englishman. Luiz Razia will start third.

Stockdale, Ohio native Zach Veach, who won last week's race at Milwaukee and sits a mere 7 points behind Chaves in the standings could only manage a 7th place qualifying position in the 10 car field. Harvey is third in the championship 23 points behind Chaves.

The green flag for tomorrow's race is expected around 3:15 p.m. local time. Full results of qualifying below.
