“Dan Andersen and the entire staff at Andersen Promotions have organized a great path and logical progression to the Verizon IndyCar Series with the Mazda Road to Indy," said Team Owner Mirl Swan. "We are very excited to be in on the USF2000 step, and look forward to working with drivers looking to begin this path to the top."
The team has previously competed in the Atlantic Championship Series as well as the F1600 Formula F Championship Series.
The Fort Worth, Texas-based Swan Motorsports looks to make a prominent name for themselves on the Mazda Road to Indy.
“We’ve put together a great staff and great infrastructure to support drivers looking to begin this path to the top," noted Swan. "We’re planning to conduct extensive testing starting mid-January to prepare for the upcoming Cooper Tires Winterfest races and to test drivers to complete our team for the 2015 season."
The team looks forward to NOLA Motorsports Park for Winterfest in February with the first official step on the Mazda Road to Indy, USF2000.
