Goodman Promoted to Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car Technical Manager
A mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Santa Barbara, Goodman's resume is extensively motorsports focused including most recently roles as Motorsport Manager and Race Car Fabricator with SCR Performance, as well as Service Manager and Technician with BimmerHaus Performance. Goodman is also the German Touring Car Race Director with the NASA Rocky Mountain Chapter as well as the former Club President of the Rocky Mountain BMW club.
As Technical Manager, Goodman's initial focus will be the management of series camera and data feeds used for television, Balance of Performance and post race control. The role will then grow into managing the technical aspects of the TC classes.
"Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role and he knows the ins and outs of the series given he's been part of the technical operations team for the last couple of years," said Pirelli World Challenge Competition Director, Marcus Haselgrove. "One of our priorities heading into the 2015 season, was to re-build and grow the entry levels in the overall Touring Car classes and we should have over 40 cars running over the three classes for the upcoming season. As Technical Manager, Dan will be the main point of contact for these teams."
