Actor Vince Vaughn is slated to be the grand marshal for the 2015 Daytona 500 on Feb. 22.

"Last year was an exciting one for NASCAR, and I can't wait to help kick off the 2015 season as the Daytona 500 grand marshal," Vaughn said in a statement. "The Daytona 500 is one of the biggest events in all of sports, and I feel honored to be able to be a part of it in such a major way."

This will be the second time Vaughn has been involved in a NASCAR race. In 2007, he was an honorary driver at Texas Motor Speedway.

Vaughn joins fellow actors Chris Evans, James Franco, John Travolta, Ben Affleck, Nicolas Cage and Matthew McConaughey in starting the Daytona 500.

Vaughn is known for movies such as Wedding Crashers and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.

His next movie, Unfinished Business, is due out Mar. 6.
