Raikkonen under last year’s Spanish GP pole time

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen turned a lap of 1min 25.167secs in early Barcelona testing today and he may go faster before the day is out. Currently he sits 1.7 sec faster than anyone else.

This is faster than the pole time of Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes for the 2014 Spanish GP. Hamilton's time of 1m25.232 sec last year was enough to beat Nico Rosberg's time of 1m25.400s. No one else was even close last year. Ferrari appears to have made some real gains this year. They dominated the Jerez test two weeks ago as well.
