"We are really excited to announce this new partnership and welcome TE Connectivity to our family of corporate sponsors," said Michael Andretti, Chairman, President and CEO, Andretti Autosport. "The relationship provides a unique opportunity to showcase the reliability and high-performance capabilities of TE Connectivity's innovative products and technologies in the very demanding environment of the Verizon IndyCar Series. Our engineers rely extensively on the TE connectors, cables and sensors integrated throughout each of our Indy cars to capture, monitor and download critical performance and safety-related data anytime our race cars are on track. That data and wireless telemetry are used to make key decisions on car set up, race strategy and driver safety. TE Connectivity plays a direct role in our on-track success and we are proud to have them on our team."
