Pro Mazda: Nicklin to JDC

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. – Indianapolis resident Parker Nicklin will join JDC MotorSports for a full season championship assault in 2015 Pro Mazda.

Nicklin, 18, who finished second in the West Coast-based Pro Mazda Formula Car Challenge in 2014 will make his transition with JDC MotorSports to the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, joining already confirmed JDC MotorSports' teammates Michael Johnson, Raoul Owens and Kyle Connery.

Nicklin's confirmation brings the teams line-up to four full-time cars in the series with JDC MotorSports still leading the charge having won the overall Pro Mazda Championship three times in the past seven years.

Nicklin commented on what it means to be a JDC MotorSports team member: "I am overjoyed by the privilege and honor of driving on a winning team and maximizing value for my sponsors and partners. Winning the Indianapolis 500 feels real."

"We are very excited and happy to have Nicklin join us for the 2015 season," stated John Church, team principal of JDC MotorSports. "Nicklin has shown that he knows the car, the speed and the race craft already, finishing second in the Pro Mazda Formula Car Challenge last year indicating that he is ready to be a frontrunner in the 2015 Pro Mazda Championship."

The Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda kick off the 2015 season on March 28-29 on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Fla.

JDC MotorSports races with associate sponsorship from RedLineOil.com, HR Sportswear and Showdown Displays.
