Busch leads opening practice

Stewart Hass Racing's Kurt Busch led opening practice for the Auto Club 400 earlier today at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. With a lap of 186.741 miles per hour in the #41 Haas Automation Chevrolet, Busch was 0.28 seconds clear of second place Denny Hamlin.

Martin Truex, Jr. was third with Brad Keselowski the fastest Ford in fourth. Six-time series champion Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top-five.

Coors Light Pole Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1. Practice times below…
