First day of NHRA Four-Wide Nationals Qualifying cancelled due to weather

The first day of qualifying at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals was cancelled when persistent rain throughout the day followed by cold temperatures and a rising dew point plagued the zMAX Dragway facility.

Qualifying was halted before any of the action even began, and neither of the Summit Racing Chevrolet Camaros, driven respectively by Greg Anderson and Jason Line, were allowed a pass before Mother Nature had her say.

Qualifying will continue with two sessions on Saturday: one at 1:15 p.m. and the final session at 4:15 p.m., before the fields are set for final eliminations at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
