Sellout Crowd On Hand for Dale Earnhardt Jr. Win In Talladega

Yesterday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Geico 500 at Talladega drew a sellout crowd, "easily the biggest at the track in more than 10 years." Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s win made for the "perfect fireworks show" that "everyone at Talladega Superspeedway – and the entire NASCAR nation – wanted most." The "celebration started early and lasted long after the race was over." More than half the 100,000 fans were "still in their seats 20 minutes after the race." FLORIDA TIMES-UNION
