Miller Motorsports Park Set To Close
They built the track so large fans cannot see the cars because they are too far away, i.e. it was not fan-friendly at all. Miller Motorsports Park, home to both a 4.5-mile road course and a short-course off-road track, will close later this year. The facility, which opened in 2006, will cease operations on Oct. 31 according to a statement by the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies, which owns the facility. The group has opted not to renew the lease on the land in Tooele County, thus closing the track.
The track will remain open for the remainder of the racing season. The track is scheduled to host several traveling racing tours, including MotoAmerica, the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series and the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
