Should Castroneves been penalized? (Update)
UPDATE In this video Tony Kanaan complains bitterly about IndyCar Race Control led by Brian Barnhart and says Castroneves should have been penalized. He talks about another mistake race control made.

A reader writes, Dear AR1.com Why wasn't Helio Castroneves penalized after ruining the race for several drivers when he plowed into the back of Scott Dixon at the start of the Grand Prix of Indianapolis? Mordichai Rosen, Los Angeles
Dear Mordichai, Brian Barnhart used to work for Roger Penske, and Roger still calls the shots in IndyCar, so Brian isn't going to make a call on his old boss. Besides IndyCar drivers crash at the start a lot anyway. Last year they crashed with the standing start and this year with the rolling start. They crash when it rains. There are just some things you just have to take for granted I suppose. Mark C.
