Artist Rebuilds A Street Legal IndyCar
An artist is turning heads behind the wheel of a street legal race car straight out of the Indianapolis 500. Dean Loucks, 50, bought the vehicle in 2007 and has since redesigned it into his very own drivable work of art. The battery powered IndyCar car weighs 1,200 lbs, about 300 lbs lighter than the average race car. It took Dean and his crew at The Art Of Design more than 1,000 hours to completely customize the car.
