Montoya leads opening practice in Toronto

Verizon IndyCar Series championship leader Juan Pablo Montoya put the #2 PPG Automotive Refinish Team Penske Chevrolet atop the time charts in a Bowtie sweep of the top-7 in opening practicing for the Honda Indy Toronto. Simon Pagenaud was second 0.1579 seconds behind Montoya, with the CFH Racing pair of Josef Newgarden and Luca Fillipi third and fourth. Toronto 2014 Race 1 winner Sebastien Bourdais rounded out the top-five.

Once again, Graham Rahal was the lead Honda, posting the eighth best time in the #15 Rousseau Metal Rahal Letterman Lanigan entry. Rahal was the only Honda to post a time in the top-11.
