FIA Formula E championship leader and SH Racing Global Rallycross driver Nelson Piquet, Jr. topped today's 2nd Indy Lights Presented By Cooper Tires Series practice session at Exhibition Place in Toronto. Filling in for Carlin regular Max Chilton, who is competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend, Piquet turned a lap 1:06.985 during a wet session, more than six-tenths quicker than Belardi Auto Racing’s Felix Serralles.

Carlin's Ed Jones was third with Americans Ethan Ringel and Shelby Blackstock rounded out the top-five. Championship leader Jack Harvey could only manage the 7th best time.

Next up for Indy Lights will be qualifying for Race 1 at 9:45 a.m. tomorrow.
