IndyCar: Saturday morning update from Toronto

Low clouds on Saturday morning

Good morning from Toronto. Practice 3 is underway and we are waiting for the sun to break out from behind The clouds that are still hanging over the area from yesterday. It is supposed to be 70 degrees and dry today. This is not the weather we are used to for this race, which is usually hot and humid. It is a welcome change.

Will Juan Montoya get his first Toronto pole today or will his experienced teammate Will Power take the point for the pole? Don't rule out Scott Dixon who won both races here in 2013 and has finished on the podium in three of the last six races here. Sebastien Bourdais is also a factor and he won here last year in the first race of the weekend.

New Stadium behind pit entrance

Stadium seating pictured behind pit lane is new and double the height of the existing seating on the opposite side of the field.

Pit in used to be a long stretch beforehand the first pit box. Due to the hotel construction, the last pit box of Stefano Coletti is almost right under the Honda bridge this year and right inside the pit entrance. Will be interesting to watch during the race how the drivers will enter the pits and have to brake earlier. Lucille Dust reporting live from Toronto for Autoracing1.com
