Grist wins Pro Mazda Race 2
Starting on pole, Grist surrendered the lead to yesterday's winner Florian Latorre on the first lap. However, the Frenchman spun coming to the restart on lap-7 handing the lead back to the Juncos Racing driver. Latorre would finish 14th, crashing with two laps remaining.
Three-time 2015 Pro Mazda winner Neil Alberico of Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing endured a miserable weekend, finishing 14th yesterday and 17th today after a lap 1 crash.
Andretti Autosport's Weiron Tan continued his solid season coming home second. Team Pelfrey's Pato O'Ward third with teammate and series championship leader Santi Urrutia fourth. Juncos' Jose Gutierrez rounding out the top-five.
The Pro Mazda Series will on break until next month when the series visits Iowa Speedway.
