Marciello handed Austria test outing for Sauber
Italian Raffaele Marciello |
Raffaele Marciello will drive for Sauber on one of the two days of testing at the Red Bull Ring after this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix.
The GP2 driver, who is currently sixth in the 2015 standings after the first three rounds, will complete his second day of test running for the Swiss outfit this year in Austria.
Marciello – who is Sauber’s test and reserve driver – was last at the wheel of the C34 in Spain, where he took part in first practice and the second day of the post-race test.
He also drove for Ferrari on the first day of the Barcelona in-season test, but will not complete running for the Italian outfit in Austria.
The 20-year-old will drive for Sauber on day one of the final test, before handing the car over to race driver Felipe Nasr.
