The brand-new Ligier JS P3 officially presented at the Le Mans 24-Hours circuit on 11th June is already attracting a lot of attention on the part of drivers and teams.

After Graff confirmed its order for the first car at the beginning of May, the Extreme Limit team confirmed today the purchase of an Onroak Automotive LM P3 sports prototype.

Patrice Roussel's team has been racing on European circuits since 2005. The team from Nantes has ten years’ experience in the VdeV Endurance Series, and it also scored two top-10 finishes in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2011 and 2012.

The team will make its return to top-level endurance racing with the Ligier JS P3 and will compete in the 2016 European Le Mans Series.

The Ligier JS P3 will begin its development programme on Friday 19th June in the hands of the very experienced Olivier Pla.

Jacques Nicolet, Onroak Automotive President: "The Ligier JS P3 was presented a few days ago and it already seems to be very much appreciated and is attracting a lot of interest on the part of drivers and teams. I think that our Ligier JS P3, and the LM P3 category in general, have a sure place in the world of endurance and meet a very important demand, especially on the part of gentlemen drivers. Its links to the Ligier JS P2 gives it immediate credibility. We’re starting a development programme tomorrow to give the best possible product to our clients Graff and Extreme Limit, the first teams to show their confidence in us, as soon as possible. I’d like to thank them and I assure them that we’ll do our best to give them complete satisfaction."
