F1 Hungarian GP TV rating

UPDATE German free-to-air TV channel RTL "recorded more than 4.5 million viewers for its broadcast of the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. Sunday's race, which was won by Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel, attracted 4.64 million viewers. The number translated into a market share of 33.1%. In the target demographic 14-49, the race from the Hungaroring near Budapest drew a 28.1% share.

German pay-TV Sky Deutschland, which also aired the race, obtained a 3.5% share in the target demographic as a total of 400,000 viewers tuned in. This from a country with 1/4 the population of the USA. Even their pay-tv drew more viewers than CNBC in the USA. No American drivers, no interest in the USA. Always has been, always will be.

07/27/15 F1 garnered a pathetic 0.32 rating on CNBC 7:30 am Sunday for the Hungarian Grand Prix F1 race won by Sebastian Vettel. No American drivers, no interest.
